Maloja Motte Salacina zum Lägh da Cavlog

A mountain hike from Maloja to the mountain lakes Lägh da Bitabergh and Lägh da Cavloc and back to Maloja. The surroundings of the quiet Lägh da Bitabergh invite you to rest before the steep climb to the Motta Salacina. As you climb, the views change and become more beautiful the longer you go on. At an altitude of around 2100 m, hikers are rewarded for the efforts of the ascent with a magnificent view of the Upper Engadine lakes and also of Bregaglia. Almost unnoticed, the pass dal Caval is crossed. On the descent to the Lägh da Cavloc, the view sweeps over the Val Forno into the Val Muretto.
