Maloja- Pass Lunghin (Wasserscheide zwischen Nordsee, Adria und Schwarzem Meer)

You start the tour preferably at the lake at Capo Lago (Maloja, bus stop and small parking lot). It goes steeply up over Plan di Zoch. Here mostly cattle and bulls graze, which deny you the passage, extensive bypasses are recommended. The rustling of the still young Inn can always be heard. At lägh dal Lunghin a break is announced, very nice view. From there you climb in a moderate incline to the lunghin pass, the watershed between the North Sea, the Adriatic Sea and the Black Sea. The GPS data is given there. Beautiful view on all sides, into the Engadin and the Septimer Pass. Further ascent south to a viewpoint in Bergell and Maloja. For sure-footed and vertigo-free mountaineers, an ascent to the Piz Lunghin is worthwhile. Descent via the same route. The hike described here starts and ends in the southern part of Maloja near the valley station of the Aela ski lift.
