Description

The tour is technically easy, it runs through 60% over wide gravel roads. The landscape of this high plateau "Las Trais Fluors" in Val Saluver is all the more impressive. First we see three rock needles of Marguns, which every child in the Engadin knows. Because the "Trais Fluors", as the striking rock formation is called in Romanesque, are actually petrified miracle flowers. Then the view widens to the Sass Nair, Piz Saluver, Piz Corviglia and the Piz Nair, to name only the most striking. The two lakes of Lej Alv reflect the surrounding mountains in a unique way. On the descent, you can see wide areas of the Upper Engadine from Lake Silvaplana with Corvatsch to Piz Rosatsch via Sankt Moritz and Pontresina with Piz Muragl / Piz Languard to Celerina. On the further descent, it then goes through beautiful pine forests to the starting point. Orientation: no continuous markings, those unfamiliar with the area need a map / navigation system Types of trails: 40% mountain paths, 60% wide gravel paths. Refreshment stops: several along the route, depending on the season: Glüna Alp, Giop Alp. Later in the year as long as the lanes are open, e.g.: Corviglia Quattro Bar: www.mountains.ch/de/essen-trinken/winter/quattrobar/

Geheimtipp

In autumn, the tour is particularly interesting for outdoor photographers, when the first snow lies on the mountains and the pine forests glow yellow in the Idian summer.
