The view from Sassiglion over the valley at the beginning of the trail compensates for the effort of the ascent. This is a route that includes different types of terrain. The entrance is a typical historical footpath of the Valposchiavo, followed by sections on gravel roads, forest paths where you can breathe deeply, up to sections with narrower and slippery places with considerable gradient.

In the end, there are various opportunities to continue cycling or return to the valley.
