Description

The tour basically consists of two sections. The route from Pontresina to the Tschierva hut is a long mountain path in beautiful surroundings - mostly along the river and partly with relatively many hikers.

The second part from the Tschierva hut is on the first meters on the same path as the tour over the Biancograt to Piz Bernina. For a while mn is also on the same path as the tour to the Piz Morteratsch or the Fuorcla da Boval, the transition to the Boval hut.

As soon as you have left these paths, m,an is usually traveling alone. Although the Piz Chierva is a very worthwhile peak, it is rarely celebrated with so much better known post-Jewry.

Directions

Long, endurance-required entry to the Tschierva hut (and from there back to Pontresina.) This distance can also be covered for the most part by bike and thus massively save time and energy. Attention: With the bike please use the car-free road from Pontresina to Rosegg - the hiking trail is subject to a driving ban.
