Description

photo:bit.ly/3yVrOKi - video track:www.relive.cc/view/v36A3XEDoGv - Route (EE - T3) of about 11 kilometers - positive elevation gain 790 meters. - It is a peak disputed with Switzerland but this climb develops for 2/3 in the territory of Livigno. Leave the car at 2315 m above sea level at the Forcola Pass and, near the Tridentina Refuge, take path No. 151 which climbs northwards. In a short time you reach the signpost, before La Colma, which indicates the ascent to the west (left) for the Forcola Lakes (2650 m / asl). Passing through the various bodies of water, continue next to Lago Grande and climbing a little further you arrive at a small 3-pointed lake (2750 m / asl). From here you just have to follow the many "cairns" because a real trace is non-existent. Heading towards a small valley carved by the water, go up it keeping to the left orographic side, thus arriving, after turning south, almost at the foot of Piz Minor (2900 m / asl). Taking a small snowfield as a reference, which you leave on your right, you begin to climb the steep ridge on a terrain mainly of soil and stones. The final stretch, almost flat, is basically a long and easy ridge furrowed by several fractures in the rock (you don't want to stop for a picnic). The view is truly special and explains why this mountain was given the name Pizzo dei Laghi (3044 m / asl). You have a view of the lakes from where you passed on the way up, then of Lake Bernina, Lake Vago and other micro lakes. The return takes place on the same route.  - "Bergheil" BuonC@mmino - No fountains -GPX (setetrak): bit.ly/3tpjaCM -Interactive route:www.relive.cc/view/v36A3XEDoGv/explore
