von Pontresina nach Samedan über die Segantini Hütte

A head for heights, surefootedness and a good constitution are prerequisites for this tour.

Bon Pontresina we walk up to Alp Languard (alternatively with the chairlift). From there it goes a bit up the mountain until the Segantini Hut is posted. (Alternatively, you could take the high trail one further down, this is less demanding). It goes along the mountain slope on the high-altitude trail. We have a great view of Pontresina, St. Moritz and Celarina. The path leads higher and higher over steps and easy climbing passages. Surefootedness and a head for heights are prerequisites for this path. At the Segantini Hut there is the possibility to stop for a bite to eat. But there are also beautiful places that are ideal for a break with your own snack. From up here we have a great view of the lakes. Descent over large stone blocks. At the bottom we meet the other high-altitude trail again. Then there is another ascent to Alp Muottas, then on to the mountain station of the funicular. Alternatively, you could take the train down to the valley. I chose relegation. On narrow paths it goes steadily downhill with a view of Samedan and the airfield. We walk in the direction of Gravatscha. At the bottom, we turn right, pass the campsite and then turn left onto a path that leads us to Samedan. the path goes along the Inn.
