Pontresina - Val Roseg – Pontresina

The start is from Pontresina train station. On wide paths and accompanied by the sound of the Rosegbach, you get deeper and deeper into the enchanting Val Roseg. With a bit of luck, you can even spot squirrels, chamois or red deer in the larch forests. As the path narrows and climbs slightly, the unique view of the large snow-covered 3000m peaks opens up to you. A swing invites you to linger.

After the short break, continue on narrow paths until you reach the Hotel Restaurant Roseg Glacier. Delicious cakes and a fantastic view await you here. With a piece of Engadine nut cake in your belly, it's easier to hike back anyway. You can take the same path or you will soon cross a bridge and walk on the other side of the stream to Pontresina. If your tired legs don't carry you far, you can end your tour just as romantically as you started it: A horse-drawn carriage will take you and your fur snout back to the starting point.
