Description
Start Post Versam. The hiking trail to Fahn branches off to the left at Neuhof. From the bank at Pt. 1007 there is a beautiful view over the Usserdorf, the church and the Calanda. The Maiensäss Fahn is characterized by gentle hills and stables. Until the middle of the 19th century, this landscape terrace was a settlement inhabited by five families. The path continues through the forest to Summergada, the first farm in Arezen, a typical Walser scattered settlement. Here the view opens up to the front Safiental. Partly on the hiking trail, partly on the ferry road we reach the Fatscha (post bus stop). The waiting time for the Postbus can be used to visit the Mülisteine to the left of the bridge at the tunnel entrance. After a stretch on the valley road, it goes via the farm Büel over a meadow path to Türli Pt. 934 and from there on the former road to Versam, where the garden restaurant of the Gasthaus Rössli awaits at the entrance to the village.
