summer -photo:bit.ly/2Ovt0xa -video track:www.relive.cc/view/v36A3VRPKZv - Route (EE-T3) of about 37 km - positive elevation gain 1,650 meters - elevation gain 1,000 meters. - You reach Pratogiano di Chiavenna where you leave the car, from here you go in front of the Crotto Ombra (333 m / asl) where you will find the first signpost with the trail signs and this excursion begins. Once you arrive at the Ostello del Deserto you take a beautiful and historic paved mule track that leads to Uschione (832 m / asl) then continue in the direction of the beautiful hamlet of Pradella (1092 m / asl). Here the mountains become quite steep and the path narrows becoming a continuous up / down that allows you to pass through the small very beautiful pastures of Saragna and Tabiadascio. Before reaching Cantone, a section with chains and metal ladders was equipped to cross the Valle Aurina stream. After the Cantone mountain pasture (1296 m above sea level) continue towards Colgera, Era and Gual. Here the route becomes less demanding and leads to the Laghetti pasture where you continue and cross the Italian-Swiss border to then arrive at Ceresc (1304 m / asl). From this location you descend along a dirt road and reach Bondo (836 m / asl - also in Switzerland). Return to Chiavenna following the easy cycle/pedestrian route of the "Via Bragaglia" which runs alongside the Mera river that passes through Castasegna, then cross the border, pass through Villa di Chiavenna and Piuro (recommended for spring and autumn!!) - several fountains - "bergheil" buonC@mmino -gpx(setetrak):bit.ly/3q59VYW -interactive route:www.relive.cc/view/v36A3VRPKZv/explore
