Description

The tour starts at the mountain station of the Flimsattelbahn cable car and initially leads along a forest road with a challenging ascent to the Greitspitze. A marvellous view awaits bikers along the ridge in the direction of Salaaser Kopf. This is followed by a short ascent to the Zeblasjoch. You are then rewarded with a flowing trail in the direction of Gampenalpe. The descent through the Fimba Valley to the middle station combines varied single trails with a breathtaking panorama. The Vesil Trail is an absolute highlight for experienced (e-)mountain bikers in search of thrills.

Be considerate when crossing and overtaking hikers.

Most of the mountain bike routes in Graubünden are on single trails that are also signposted as hiking trails. Hikers always have right of way.

  • With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
  • Continue by PostBus to Samnaun-Ravaisch mountain railway valley station
  • In Samnaun, hourly service during the day with the Samnaunbus

Anreise Information

  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27, turn left at Vinadi towards Samnaun
  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of Reschenpass on the B180, from Kajetansbrücke in the direction of Spiss - Samnaun on the L348
  • From the south: via Reschenpass to Kajetansbrücke, then towards Spiss - Samnaun on the L348
