Description

This stage out of the wild Val S-charl leads quite straight down into the valley, partly on the access road, partly only slightly uphill above the road. More varied than the path is the increasingly narrow gorge with impressive erosions. On the other bank of the Clemgia is the eastern end of the National Perk.
It gets really entertaining in the last section, where the Clemgia, which we follow since the Pass da Costainas, has eaten deep into the rock. Before the beginning of the gorge at the Plan da Funtaunas post bus stop, we leave the road and descend to the stream, which we then follow through the narrow gorge, a lasting experience for ears and eyes.
At the exit of the gorge we are practically at the Inn, which we cross on a footbridge and thus arrive at the stage town of Scuol. The track leads to the Scuol-Bogn bus stop in the centre of the village. In the evening, it is worth visiting the lower part of the village with its well-kept, old houses.
