Winterwandern im Engadin

Don't be surprised: The passages over the lakes are possible in winter, signposted and well laid out. Long tour through the Upper Engadine from Lake Staz (Lej da Staz) to Sils Maria, past the historic double Olympic hill. The tour can be shortened at will or varied as a route hike with return travel. Under no circumstances should you skip the passage into the nature reserve to Lake Staz. Thanks to good signposting, various spontaneous deviations are possible. But beware: Lake Silvaplana is a popular surfing water and snowkiting area in winter. An icy wind can blow with a wind chill of below minus 20 degrees!
