Description

Val Chamuera is one of the longest valleys in the Engadine.
After reaching the old and imposing Serlas mule house, you can choose between 3 directions: straight ahead a very beautiful natural road leads to Alp Prünella; From there, you can walk to either Val da Fain, Val Languard or even the Valle di Federia, which leads to Livigno. On the right, a little steeper, you can reach Alp Prüna with the MTB, and from there on foot the Fuorcla Muragl; on the left, very steep, Alp Timun, from where you can walk to Val Chaschauna.

What I particularly like about Val Chamuera is the continuous change of the valley width, which always offers surprising panoramas.

See below right a short film about Val Chamuera.
