Zustieg über Morteratsch

From Morteratsch (railway station) - wide path to the south over the glacier forefield of the Morteratsch glacier. Depending on the current conditions, in a slight right loop (towards the west) on the Morteratsch Glacier and to the east to the beginning of the trail tracks in the rocks of Isla Persa south of the Vadret Pers.

In bends in steep scree up on a clear path, where you meet the variant from Chamanna da Boval. The path then turns left into the rocks and reaches the height of Isla Persa.

Now in a southerly direction along the path tracks to the Vadret da la Fortezza. Over this further on the Firnrücken

Now you climb in a general southerly direction over the glacier up to the Bellavista terrace (about 3700 m) turn off to SW and climb on the Bellavista terrace up to about 3760 m below the highest Bellavista peak

Here in the direction of W descend the steep slope and cross a crevice zone at about 3600 m. Continue below the Crast'Agüzza until you reach the Fuorcla Crast'Agüzza and the Rifugio Marco e Rosa.
