Versatile and modern - that's how the Languard family ski area in Pontresina presents itself to winter sports fans young and old. Beginners will find their way on its varied pistes just as much as experts, who instead of the hustle and bustle of downhill skiing pay homage to enjoyable serenity. Families can expect a special offer here, because children up to 15 years of age ski for free in Languard! Those who want to take their first steps on skis are in good hands at the Swiss Ski School Pontresina: Many a skiing and snowboarding career has already begun on the practice area with modern, child-friendly infrastructure, the Snowli Kids Village with magic carpet and pony lifts. The Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Pontresina ensures successful first turns in the snow.

Description

The municipality of Pontresina is located in the Upper Engadin in the immediate vicinity of the Swiss ski and winter sports centre of St. Moritz. Holidaymakers here have access to the three major ski destinations of Diavolezza, Corviglia and Corvatsch, which together offer around 350 kilometres of pistes. Friends of Nordic skiing will find similarly good conditions in the Upper Engadin as their alpine sports comrades. In Pontresina, in contrast to the exclusive St. Moritz, things are a little quieter. Numerous wellness oases invite you to relax after a strenuous day of skiing, and the local restaurants cater for your physical well-being with a mix of Swiss and Italian specialities.
