Golf Course Val Surses Savognin Bivio
Alvaneu Bad Golf Club
Description
The Alvaneu Bad golf course is 950 meters above sea level. on the route Tiefencastel - Bergün - La Punt Chamues-ch (Upper Engadin). The course was created in two, from topography and environment, different terrain chambers and adapted to the terrain. The old trees have been completely preserved and skilfully integrated.
Nine holes in a river landscape: The nine holes that can be played since May 1997 lie in the typical river landscape of the Albula Valley, which is an unforgettable backdrop. The golf course is practically level and therefore easy to commit. Existing streams have been captured in four lakes and are used for irrigation of the entire plant as well as water hazards.
Another nine holes in the terrain chamber: The second 9 holes - duly inaugurated in June 2002 - lie in a closed terrain chamber on the other side of the Albula. The second hole is the only hole with a bigger slope. At the holes 3 and 4, the fairways are slightly sloping, from hole 5 to hole 8, the place is flat again. The tee of hole 9 is located on a plateau practically in the village center of Alvaneu Bad. From there we go down to the ninth green.
