The Beverin Nature Park stretches around the Piz Beverin - known for its deep gorges, unspoilt villages, landscape-defining churches, crystal-clear mountain lakes and majestic ibexes.

Description

The kings of the Alps live proudly in the rock faces around Piz Beverin (2998 m above sea level) and watch over the wild, unique landscape of the 413 square kilometre nature park. The foundation of the Beverin Nature Park is formed by the approximately 3000 inhabitants of the eleven political municipalities.

Together with the park communities and the population, the nature park is working on the future of the region. Innovative, creative solutions should enable the region to develop sustainably.

The Viamala and Roffla gorges, the alpine mountain landscape around Piz Beverin, the peace and seclusion of the Safiental valley, the crystal-clear mountain lakes and the species-rich dry meadows are just some of the impressive natural assets in the park area.
