The capricorn exhibition in the Center da Capricorns in Wergenstein imparts exciting and interesting information about the king of the Alps. The ibex was reintroduced 60 years ago in the region of the nature park and there are now about 300 animals.
Description
The modern exhibition starts with an interactive relief of the Beverin Nature Park. On this relief, the realm of the Capricorn can be discovered in 3D and multimedia. Then it's back in time. Wall drawings bear witness to cave paintings and in an imitation rock face you can discover exciting information about the extinction, reintroduction and current distribution of the capricorn.
Tablets provide in-depth information about the capricorn, and a species quiz allows visitors to discover the differences between the Alpine ibex and its relatives, which are widespread in Eurasia and Africa. The crowning glory of the Capricorn exhibition are three ibex specimens, so that you can admire the king of the Alps in real size.
