Description
The character of this Romanesque hall church from the 12th century is a rarity in the canton of Graubünden. The massive church tower was only later given a belfry with bells from the late Middle Ages to the pre-Reformation period, from around 1300 to 1484.
The interior of the church features early Gothic wall paintings by the Waltensburg Master. The simple pulpit was installed in 1807. The church was renovated in 1971-1973 and 1990-1994. The five-register organ was built by Orgelbau Felsberg AG in 2007.
