The small Sogn Carli chapel stands in a small clearing in the forest above Morissen. It was probably built in the second half of the 17th century. The belfry was built during the renovation work of 1940 - 41 and an old bell from the Sogn Roc chapel in Vella was fixed in it.
Description: On the eastern slope of Piz Mundaun, on the old path from Morissen to Obersaxen. Nave and recessed, flat closed choir to the northwest, both with wooden ceilings. Semicircular chancel arch. West entrance.Wall paintings In the nave the Last Judgement with St. Michael as the guardian of souls. Next to it Our Lady with an unknown alliance coat of arms.On the way to S. Carlo, small wayside shrine.
