The fireplace is located outside the village of Castrisch at the entrance to the Rhine Gorge. It can be reached in 20 minutes from Castrisch train station. Firewood is available at the fireplace as well as a toilet. What makes this fireplace special is the barefoot path.
The fireplace can be reached on foot via the Castrisch hiking trail to Valendas - Sagogn - Station and is located directly on the banks of the Rhine.
