Fireplace Arosa Lenzerheide
Fireplace Squirrel Trail
Cosy fireplace on one of the most popular themed trails "Eichhörnliweg" in Arosa.
Description
The "Eichhörnliweg" leads into the forest at Tomeli-Strasse (below Waldhotel Arosa) and ends at the Maran bus stop. This fireplace is located a few hundred metres before the upper end (Maran) of the popular "Eichhörnliweg". The fireplace is part of a large playground with various play elements - including a water wheel embedded in nature.
Opening hours
Always during the Arosa summer season.
Directions
Public Transport
The Rhaetian Railway leaves Chur to Arosa and back at hourly intervals. The Squirrel Trail starts a few metres above the train station Arosa. To reach the fireplace it is best to take the local bus towards "Prätschli" and get off at the bus stop "Maran".
Directions
From Chur, take the winding Arosastrasse to the end of the valley in Arosa. At the entrance to the village, after the petrol station, turn into Maranerstrasse. Follow the road to the public car park opposite the Hotel Hof Maran.
We recommend leaving the car in the village and continuing from there by local bus (to the Hof Maran bus stop) and on foot.
Parking
At the entrance to the village there are large signs indicating the various parking options. We recommend the Obersee car park or the Ochsenbühl multi-storey car park. You will find further information under Arosa Parking.
