Formerly year-round inhabited Maiensäss settlement with wonderful panoramic views. Approx. 30 min ascent from the dam wall.
Description
In Frunt (1990 m above sea level), the chapel of St. Anna, built in 1754, is located at the top of a rock face. The Zerfreila reservoir can be seen from here. The 2821-metre-high Zerfreilahorn ("Bündner Matterhorn") towers above the lake.
