Gasthaus Wildenstein

Christian Barandun inherited the company and ran it until 1973. At that time, the restaurant was only about half the size as it is today, the adjoining room served as a sewing room and as a room for larger crowds.

After the death of the Barandun couple in 1973, their daughter Emerita Tscharner (Barandun) followed suit and extensively renovated the restaurant and the kitchen. The restaurant was reopened in 1974.

In 1985 Emerita Kunfermann (Tscharner) took over the house with her husband.They expanded the kitchen and in the back part the Stübli was refurnished. Furthermore, the rooms were expanded as studios and finally a small bar was built in the adjacent stable, which once a month serves as a meeting place for the youth and the young at heart.
