The Glarus Thrust is rarely as clearly visible as on the south and east faces of the Foostock.

Description

The Foostock majestically towers over the rear Weisstannental. Below the razor-sharp line of the Glarus Thrust lies a large grey limestone package, the origin of which still raises questions today. Below are gentle, grassy slopes composed of flysch rock.
