The Hörnli Express takes you comfortably up 664 metres in altitude from the valley station to the Hörnli mountain station.
Description
The gondola "Hörnli Express" takes you in a comfortable ride directly up to the Hörnli.
The 6.8 km long Hörnli Trail was opened in autumn 2018. During the gondola ride, you may be able to observe sunbathing marmots as well as skilled bikers. The new Hörnli Trail is unique in the Alpine region. The topographical conditions on the Hörnli are unique and predestined for a flow trail that can be ridden by practically all skill levels, including families.
Once you have reached the top, we recommend walking up to the Hörnli mountain restaurant and enjoying the wonderful view of the mostly crystal-clear Lake Urden while enjoying a regional delicacy.
