Jöriseen

The Jöriseen are beautifully embedded in a barren mountain landscape in the Flüela area at around 2,500 m above sea level. The turquoise blue of the water jumps into the eyes – so beautifully combined with the gray of the stones and the white of the few small snow remnants it sparkles out. In the background, the Jörig glacier is recognizable, whose meltwater feeds the lakes. Paired with the Piz Linard in the background, the scenery could not be more beautiful. From Davos, the PostBus leads to the "Wägerhus" stop, which is probably the best starting point for the start of the six-hour hike. The 11 km are more suitable for experienced hikers, who take the 850 meters of altitude easily under their feet.
