The "Nossadunna da Lourdes" Chapel is located slightly elevated in the center of the Clavadi district. The chapel was built in 1899 and consecrated on August 15, 1903. In the same year, the Stations of the Cross along the old road from Sumvitg to Clavadi were also blessed. Due to limited finances, the citizens took matters into their own hands as much as possible and, largely through voluntary labor, made the construction possible. The chapel was renovated in 1965.

Description

On July 23, 1986, a fire caused by a lightning strike destroyed the roof of the chapel, along with the bell tower and bells. On September 6, 1987, the three new bells and the renovated church were consecrated.

The chapel is oriented to the north. The chancel is raised by four steps and is covered with a ribbed vaulted ceiling. The bell tower rises from the gabled roof of the chapel above the entrance and is topped with a raised hood, a ball, and a cross. The three bells ring from within the tower.

At the back of the chancel, instead of a main altar, there is a beautifully crafted Lourdes grotto made of local tuff stones, which were transported from Laus to Clavadi. On the left shoulder wall of the chancel stands a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and on the right shoulder wall is a statue of St. Joseph with the Child Jesus.
