Description

Sound installation «Holaggsch»

The "Uf Truaja" stable museum resembles a time capsule: on display is a hodgepodge of agricultural tools, all of which are inscribed in Walser dialect. How the words used to sound can be heard thanks to the voice of the peister Walti Tschurr, which clatters through an old radio. On the upper floor, you can also explore the primeval sound of old farmer's tools.

Recordings & Sound Design: Andri Probst (1975, Bern)

Narrated by: Walter Tschurr (1931, Peist)

Design of sound objects: Hans Scherrer (1954, Peist)
