Description

Sound installation «ZeterMordio»

According to old writings, two people were hanged on the Galgenbühl at the beginning of the 18th century. The sounds from the crankable listening station reinforce the tense atmosphere between life and death, judging and being judged. The film music "Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod" (1968) by the composer Ennio Morricone is quoted – site-specific alienated and recorded with a post horn.

Concept & implementation: Sonja Rüegg (1975, Ebnat-Kappel) and Kathrin Raimann (1980, Ebnat-Kappel)

Music/Posthorn: Daniel Woodtli (1974, Bern)
