Kraftwerke Sarganserland AG
An entire network of reservoirs and tunnels makes use of the hydroelectric power of the region.
Description
The Sarganserland power stations have been producing electricity with water from the neighbouring valleys of Calfeisen and Weisstannen since 1976. The water is collected in the Gigerwald reservoir and channeled through the turbines of the Mapragg and Vadura power stations.
