La Streccia

Gassa d'la Streccia - this is the name of one of the old and winding streets in Soglio. Here you will find the old farmhouse, the stable and the smithy, which Ugo and Elena Giacometti cleared out and restored. They are made accessible to guests as part of exhibitions and guided tours. The aim is not to create a museum, but to open the doors of these buildings from time to time to put oneself in the shoes of how the people of Soglio lived until the beginning of the last century.
