Lake Heidiland
Maadseeli

Description
The Maadseeli is located at 2188 metres above sea level, directly on the Sardona World Heritage Trail and above the Spitzmeilenhütte. Around the Madseeli you can find the red Verrucano rock over large areas. In between, there are also single rocks of yellow color and magnificent flowers such as gentian, chamois and soapwort. With the characteristic Spitzmeilen in the background, the Maadseeli always attracts many photographers.
Tip: The easiest way to reach the Maadseeli is from the Maschgenkamm. A visit to the Spitzmeilenhütte is almost a must.
