Description
The historic house Chà Gronda on the square in the historic lower village (Scuol sot) is worth a visit alone. The building, which was built around 1700, provides an insight into an authentic Engadine house and the original, simple Engadine way of life. In addition, it shows an exhibition of prehistoric finds in the Lower Engadine as well as a valuable library with works of Romanesque literature from the first Bible translations to the present day.
Every year, a newly designed special exhibition deals with a regionally significant topic.
