The Muttner Höhi fireplace is located on a beautiful alpine meadow.
Description
The fireplace can be reached on foot in approx. 25 minutes from Obermutten. In the centre of the village of Obermutten you will find the signpost that leads you to the fireplace. Leave the village to the east and walk approx. 1 kilometre over beautiful mountain meadows to the fireplace. This easy hike is also suitable for children. You have to climb approx. 130 metres in altitude before you reach your destination. The campfire site is in a sunny location and has some trees in the neighbourhood, but no shade itself. The meadow around the fireplace offers plenty of space to play and linger.

Important information: In summer there is often a risk of forest fires in this area, please observe any instructions.

The fireplace is located at 2000 m above sea level. metres above sea level, so it can still be pleasantly cool even in early summer.

It is possible to travel to Obermutten by post bus. You can find the timetable at: www.sbb.ch
Directions
By car, drive to Obermutten and park in the designated car park at the entrance to the village. The road to Obermutten is partly very steep, narrow and unpaved.

There are approx. 15 parking spaces at the village entrance
