Natural reservoir Lej Alv

The Lej Alv lies above the Marguns mountain station and collects and stores the water that flows down from the Val Schlattain and the mountain when the snow melts. The lake, which is used as a water reservoir for snowmaking on the mountain in winter, is a wonderful destination for mountain bikers and hikers in summer. The lake can be reached on foot or by bike either via the mountain station of the Marguns gondola lift or via the mountain station of the Corviglia funicular railway.

Lej Alv is an ideal place to relax, especially for families: while the adults enjoy the peace and quiet and the impressive mountain scenery, children can splash and play in the clear water without a care in the world.

There is also a finned track around the lake, which is ideal for altitude training.
