Description
The church San Gian (reformed) is the landmark of Celerina. It impresses with frescoes as well as a hand-painted wooden ceiling and dates back to the 14th century. The church stands on a hill in the plain between Celerina, Samedan and Punt Muragl and cannot be missed.
Visit the church of San Gian independently during opening hours.
From June 17th to October 14th 2024, a guided tour with exciting explanations will take place every Monday. Other tours are offered for private groups as special tours at special times and for an additional charge. By the way: Photography is not allowed in the church to protect the frescoes.
