Spundis

Spundis is located immediately above Brambrüesch at an altitude of 1,812 metres and in the summer it is easy to get to from the top station of the Chur mountain railways via hiking trails or by mountain bike. It is a beautiful Alp where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Tödi, Ringelspitz, Calanda, and the Graubünden Oberland (Surselva), among other places. There is a large fountain, a wooden bench, and the somewhat deeper small Spundis lake. From there you can get to the Spundisköpfe in around 20 minutes - a worthwhile detour culminating in a breath-taking view of the city of Chur and the Rhine Valley.
