Valchava

The well-preserved farming village with its baroque church tower from the 15th century is very quiet thanks to the bypass road. The attraction of the place is the valley museum "Chasa Jaura", where the former way of life of the "Jauer" (Romanesque name of the local population) is shown with ancient objects. The Valley Museum also regularly hosts exhibitions of important contemporary artists. The restored lime kiln also offers an insight into the past. In summer, Valchava is the starting point of many hikes. In winter, you can enter the valley trail here.
