Cultural hike Lag da Pigniu

The village of Pigniu and the Lag da Pigniu reservoir - located in a picturesque side valley of the Surselva - offer some historical tidbits. On this hike along the wild Schmuèrbach stream, you will be accompanied by historians who will provide insights into the turbulent times of the Napoleonic Wars in the Surselva. Historical topics - such as the importance of hydropower for the mountain regions - are also covered. An excursion for, but not only for, hikers interested in history.
