Children are little geologists. Discovering, working with and collecting stones is fascinating. In the Tectonic Arena Sardona, stones are the main theme, and is therefore made for a stone-heavy play day!

Description

We go looking for a particularly beautiful stone, build stone women and men, hop a stone relay, split stones, lay a rainbow with colored stones, build a stone arch, look for fossilized animals, play stone drums, get to the bottom of stone secrets, and eat vein salad, or is that not possible after all? Why are we so fascinated by stones? How are stones and mountains formed? Let's find out! Ask your parents if you can spend a day with other children and with stones. When you are about 8 years old, you are ready to go. The GeoGuide Béatrice will make sure that you have an exciting day.

Packing list
Clothing according to the weather, wind/rain protection, sturdy trekking shoes with good tread; sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream; lunch picnic, snack and enough drinks; money for drink in Segneshütte; plaster, possibly own medication; emergency address; pencil, paper; if available magnifying glass, hammer.

Hike
The hike takes about an hour and 120 vertical meters up to the lower Segnesboden, and about the same with only descent back to Alp Nagens.
