On 13 September 2025, the National Hiking Day of the "Swiss Family" will take place for the 17th time. Hiking is one of the most popular leisure and sports activities in Switzerland. In the last ten years, hiking has become a trend sport. Probably not least because of this boom, the National Hiking Day of the "Swiss Family" is a success story.

The event convinces with its down-to-earth and traditional character, the attractive supporting programme and the wide reach of the Swiss family. Up to 5000 hiking fans visit the National Hiking Day every year.
