Schäbyschigg is a Swiss band that mainly plays their own songs with clarinet, large and small trumpets, tuba, accordion, ukuleles and voices. Their music is somewhere between Kasi Geisser, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. New groove folk music from Switzerland, simply "Schäbyschigg".

"Sälbschtversorger" - a current topic!

With their current program and the new album "Sälbschtversorger" they deal with our world and the present day in a humorous way. Music for heart and brain! What and how much do we need for a happy life? Are we "Sälbschtversorger"? Who is "we" and what is a "Sälbschtversorger"?

Schäbyschigg ponders these and other questions. With air and passion, they let their thoughts run free:

What happens to the fisherman Fritz, who no longer fishes because the stream is too warm? Is a small garden more shabby than chic? Do we find a balance between giving and taking again? And, is less also more?

"Sälbschtversorger" does not mean inhabiting a desert island, but finding a way to admire the world and nature together: "so breath and live".
