The Swiss National Day on August 1st is celebrated in Samnaun. During the day there is a village market and an attractive children's program, attractions, shows, music and a festival restaurant. In the evening, the traditional National Day speech is an annual event. This year, Marcus Caduff, President of the Cantonal Government of Graubünden, will give the speech. The bonfires and fireworks will round off the National Day.
