Bergkirchli-Konzert mit F.Mettler & E. de Oliveira

Franco Mettler, clarinet & Edmauro de Oliveira, guitar In the mid-19th century, around 2000 Swiss emigrated to Brazil. (Were there Schanfiggers among them?). During this time, Choro originated in Rio de Janeiro. It is a fusion of popular European music (Polka, Waltz) and the music of African slaves.
