Calabrun

A varied concert evening from smooth to groove. The magical moments of Calabrun music – in addition to exciting instrumentation – are provided by the core of the band's sound, which is based on the warm, metallic and unique sound of the hang/handpan, a hand-played sister of the Caribbean steel drums, which is present in all pieces. The trio combines instrumental original compositions with arrangements of traditional drum music and ethno standards, sometimes pulsating, groovy or floating, always with room for handpan, flute, bass and percussion improvisations.
