Hristo Kazakov – piano

Hristo Kazakov has already made a deep impression on us several times with his virtuoso playing. This time we hear two wonderful works in minor by Chopin, the Kavier Sonata No. 3 and the Ballade No. 4, and six preludes by Debussy – the pianist has already received great applause for performances of the latter.

Hristo Kazakov lives and works in Switzerland. His concerts with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, especially his interpretations of "The Art of the Fugue" and the "Goldberg Variations" received enthusiastic applause, as did his artistic performance of Claude Debussy's 24 Preludes.

As a soloist and ensemble musician, he has toured in Switzerland, Bulgaria, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Armenia, Hong Kong and Australia.
Another highlight of his performances was his interpretation of works by Alexander Scriabin, Maurice Ravel, Ferrucio Busoni, Robert Schumann and Sergei Rachmaninov, as well as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 KV 488 and Frederic Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1.
Recordings were made for Radio Hong Kong, Bulgarian State Television and RFI France.

After the concert, the KulturBus will take you free of charge to Scuol, Ftan, Ardez and Tarasp. Register at the box office.
