DALL'ABACOS CAPRICCI · Estelle Revaz Cello

Geneva-based cellist and SP National Councillor Estelle Revaz regularly performs at festivals such as the Gstaad Menuhin Festival and the Verbier Festival, together with musicians such as Renaud and Gautier Capuçon, Andrey Baranov and Christian Chamorel. She performs in halls such as Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Musée du Louvre in Paris, the NCPA in Beijing, the Oriental Art Center in Shanghai, the CCK in Buenos Aires, the Auditorium del Sodre in Montevideo and the Linder Auditorium in Johannesburg. In the 17/18 season, Estelle Revaz was Artist in Residence with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra.

Estelle Revaz not only brings a new style, but also music to the Federal Palace (SRF). During the pandemic, she spared no effort to highlight how indispensable culture is and to make the concerns of cultural workers clear to politicians. Her autobiography entitled "La Saltimbanque", published by Slatkine in 2023, tells of glamour, but also of the background of the artist's life. In the National Council, the commitment is now continuing.

Estelle Revaz plays a cello by G. Grancino (1679) and uses a bow made by J. Eury (1825).

In 2024, the album Caprices for Violoncello Solo by Dall'Abaco was released by Solo Musica as a digital release.

I had the opportunity to play with Estelle Revaz. Estelle is a sincere and profound musician who I highly recommend.
