In the Engadine, railway culture can be experienced up close. On 26 January and 23 March 2025, the G 4/5 108 steam locomotive and on 22 February and 18 October 2025 the "Heidi" G 3/4 No. 11 steam locomotive will be in service between Samedan and Scuol-Tarasp. On a steam ride, you will immerse yourself in the wondrous world of railway history. Nostalgia, shiny metal and the smooth play of the mechanics offer a special experience.

What began in 1889 with the opening of the line from Landquart to Klosters is now a 384-kilometre-long network in the middle of the Swiss high mountains. Immerse yourself in the wondrous world of the steam age and experience a piece of railway history up close. The Engadine in its special colour dress is already unique - on a steam ride you can enjoy the beautiful nature twice. The first class in the Belle Époque Coupé is very special. On advance reservation, there are the little extras with aperitif / coffee and sweet pastries, served by the Historic RhB gastro team from Club1889 and the Dampffreunde RhB association.
